Many computer problems don’t need a visit at all. With remote IT support, you stay at home, we connect securely to your computer over the internet, and you watch on your own screen while we fix it. Sessions are £45.
How a remote session works
- Call us on 07912 529164 or book through the contact form, and tell us what’s going wrong.
- We send you a link. You open it on the computer with the problem and read us a short code. Nothing is installed permanently.
- We fix it while you watch. You can see everything we do and end the session at any time. When we disconnect, our access ends.
What we can fix remotely
- Slow or cluttered computers: clean-up, startup programs, updates
- Scam pop-ups, fake virus warnings and most malware
- Email not sending or receiving, account setup, moving to a new email address
- Printers, scanners and Wi-Fi that have stopped working
- Software installation, Microsoft 365, backups and cloud storage
- Windows settings, accounts, passwords and security
- Help and training: we’ll show you how to do something, not just do it for you
Hardware faults, such as a cracked screen or a dead drive, need the machine in the workshop. If that’s what we find, we’ll tell you and arrange collection instead; you won’t be charged for the remote session.
Remote support for small businesses
We support small businesses, shops and home-based firms across Worthing and West Sussex with ad-hoc and ongoing remote support: PCs and laptops, email, backups, networks and the day-to-day problems that stop people working. No long contracts, and quick response when something’s down.
Price
- Remote IT support session: £45
- No fix, no fee: if we can’t fix it remotely, you don’t pay
Remote support FAQs
Is remote support safe?
Yes. The connection is encrypted, you start it yourself by reading us a one-time code, you watch everything we do, and access ends when the session does. We never ask for your bank details or passwords to accounts we don’t need.
What do I need?
A working internet connection and a computer that starts up and can open a web browser. If it won’t get that far, we’ll collect it instead.
Can you support a Mac remotely?
Yes, macOS and Windows both work. We can also help with phones and tablets by talking you through things over the phone.
