How it works
- Get in touch. Call 07912 529164 or send a message and tell us what’s going wrong. If you’re not sure, that’s fine: that’s what the diagnostic is for.
- Free diagnostic. Drop the machine in or we’ll collect it. We find the fault and give you a clear, fixed quote before any work starts.
- Fixed and returned. We do the repair, test it properly and get it back to you set up and working. If we can’t fix it, you pay nothing.
Sompting and the surrounding area
Sompting sits between Worthing and Lancing, with the old village around West Street, Sompting Abbotts and St Mary’s church, whose Saxon Rhenish-helm spire is the only one of its kind in England, and the newer estates spreading south towards the A27 and the coast. It’s about twelve minutes from Findon along the A24 and A27, so collection is quick and many customers drop in. We do a lot of data recovery and backup work here, from failed hard drives to lost photos, as well as the usual laptop screens, slow machines and Wi-Fi.
As well as Sompting (BN15), we cover Lancing, Broadwater and Worthing, and everywhere else within about ten miles of Findon. See the full list of areas we cover.

Computer repair FAQs for Sompting
Can you recover files from a hard drive that’s stopped working?
Often, yes. We recover data from failing and corrupted drives in our workshop, and we’ll tell you upfront if a drive needs specialist clean-room recovery instead. Then we’ll set up a proper backup so it doesn’t happen again.
Will my data be safe?
Yes. Your files stay on your machine unless you ask us to back them up, we never go through personal data, and where a repair puts the drive at risk we’ll back it up first and tell you.
My computer is slow. Is it worth fixing?
Usually, yes. An SSD upgrade and a proper clean-up transforms most machines under eight years old for far less than a replacement. If a computer really isn’t worth it, we’ll tell you straight.
